Doing Life With Jesus

Doing Life With Jesus

I love the sketch above for so many reasons. It is so powerful, and reduces me to tears and shivers every time I watch it! I feel that it carries its own personal stories for each of us that watch it.

To me, the ultimate message of this sketch is that God is always watching us wherever we are, whatever we are doing. It shows just how vast, high, and wide God's love is for us.

God's love is bigger and stronger than anything. His love is what we need; it’s our oxygen, our daily bread, our everything!

When we feel ourselves wandering away, getting caught up in life, and feeling utterly lost with no hope left, we can see that Jesus is standing there every step of the way; knowing exactly what we are going through, knowing what is going on in every single one of our lives and minds.

There are no issues too big, small, significant or insignificant for God to help or show his care for you. For it ALL matters to him, He wants to help you with all of it. He does not want you to do life alone.

‘No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you’. (John 15:15)

There are so many moments in my life that instantly spring to mind when I watch this, where I know I have messed up. But watching this also reminds me that Jesus will always be standing there with his arms outstretched, willing me to run to him so we can go through it together.

When things in life rob me of my heart, I know Jesus is on a case to steal it back. I know that he will calm my storms, that He will hold my hand and He will not let my hand go! He will capture my heart with His desires. He is my light, leading me to a place where I can find peace.

So as you watch this sketch, remember that God is always there.

He knows you, he wants you, and He LOVES you!
